How good do you have to be at figure skating to join a competition?

Or are there different levels at which you can compete at? Can someone give me a website on figure skating competitions?|||Yes, skating competitions vary for every level. When I used to skate i used to do a competition based on every level i was in. Depending on where you live you can probably just google skating competitions and find local competitions. Ususally if you have a skating coach they can set up a competition for you if you want to compete.

Competitions help you to test your skills and all together show you if you are ready to move on with you abilities. It is also pretty cool to get a medal.

You should browse http://www.usfsa.org for competitions you can sign up for. if you are a beginner you can search under the basic skills and then click on the button on the left that says basic skills competitions. if you are advanced you can search competitions at the top of the website|||I do not have a website to give you but there are different levels that you can compete at. Depending on whether you are isi or usfsa you may start earlier (isi) or later (usfsa).
